Cadmus
our comments
This restaurant is inspired by the myth of The Phoenician Prince Cadmus. It sits at the highest point of Circular Quay, with views of the Sydney Opera. "Chefs Jason Carroll from Ireland and Elly el Saddie from Lebanon, work closely together creating classical Eastern Mediterranean flair." The restaurant combines Modern Australian cuisine with Eastern European. Sample menu items include John Dory Gravalax with sea scallops, confit pork neck, Yarra Valley caviar & marscapone and Seared Redgate Quail stuffed with foie gras & spinach, on cumin spiced cauliflower puree & with cognac infused muscatels.- March 2005

We were in Sydney for New Years Eve 2004/2005 and for my Sons' Wedding which took place outside the Opera House on January 5th 2005. We had a meal in the evening at Cadmus and it was simply brilliant. The view and the food were to die for and the staff first class, efficient and unobtrusive, we could not have asked for anything better, a truly memorable experience.

we had our wedding reception at Cadmus - the food was absolutely to "die for". Our guests have not stopped talking about the beautiful food (and the nice wedding) - we trusted Cadmus on our wedding day - take your loved one there!!! It'll be a beautiful day with wonderful food!.
