River Canyon Restaurant

We held our Xmas party there last Friday night. Well, I should say - we tried to hold it there. Arrived at 7:30pm, food was the worst I have ever seen. Mind you, we only received the entre's. Mains never came. At 10:30PM, our table left - without ever receiving our main's. This was followed closely by the table of 20 who arrived at 6:30PM and who hadn't received their's.

Prawn cocktails consitsed of tinned prawns spooned on to a plate, with some dried up rocket. Noice. And $18.95 thank you very much !

Had been here before and decided to try this restaurant again when we heard it was under new management. Never again!!!!

Food was very expensive and horrible. It cost us about $50 a head and all I ate the whole night was bread. Went here with family and not one meal ordered between the 11 of us was any good. Meals were sent back more than once and still they couldn't get them right. Meat undercooked, fish overcooked, seafood tasted frozen, potatoes raw and crunchy. The cocktails had large chunks of ice in them and were the wrong flavour to what we ordered, when sent back they got them wrong AGAIN. "Entertainment" - music seemed like something from a b grade movie. Do yourself a favour and stay away until it inevitably goes out of business or changes management, again.
