i would have to say this is simply the worst jp food I have ever had in Sydney. went there twice both because other jp restaurants are not available.
We ordered mostly raw food coz first time we dine the cook food taste awful. the 2nd time experience is:
the salmon skin sushi is as hard as stone we almost break our teeth chewing on it. oyster not fresh. salmon belly sashimi is too thick. the worst nightmare is the urchin sashimi. it smells like public toilet. we ask to cancel and refund for it but was rejected. the reason was ridiculous: the owner claimed that its from south autralia and not tassie thats y it smells stronger. i have eaten urchin many times in different restaurants there is nt so stinky like his ones. its apparent that it has gone off...btw i heard a frd said the fish mkt only sell urchin from chilli, so there is nt as urchin from south australia in fish mkt.
we had 3 ppl and we spend 170+. mostly becoz most food are bad and we had to order more for alternatives. bad for value as well. def would NOT go back
