Sailors Thai Canteen

We went here one evening during our trip to Sydney encouraged by the reputation of the owner, David Thompson. The place was interesting, with a long concrete communal table hosting rather well-heeled clientele. While the food was good it was not exceptional. My pork belly was rather nice while my wifes chicken curry was not exceptional (it was admittedly not an adventurous choice though). If you are around the area its a perfectly fine option but its not worth a detour as there certainly are more exciting places in Sydney (Spice Temple for example, which is simply outstanding).
